The Role : As part of the Corporate Coverage Team, you will directly work with Senior Relationship Managers on a number of listed/privately owned Italian Corporates, focusing on the origination of capital structure and treasury solutions, while also leveraging the bank’s global network.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Co-coverage role and relationship management responsibility for CB clients, with direct access to CFOs/Group Treasurers/Risk Managers
  • Coordination and engagement with Product Partners and Local Relationship Managers to originate and deliver the full spectrum of treasury solutions: lending, trade finance, cash management, FX and rates hedging.
  • Assess credit and financial metrics of existing and potential corporate clients
  • Support the team on internal business management activities
  • Prepare internal memos for a number of purposes: briefing, credit approvals, capital allocation forums and other committees
  • Produce best in class presentations to support the marketing effort
  • Active involvement in the negotiation of legal and credit documentation

Experience and Skills

  • Strong academic record, either in Economics or Management Engineering
  • Proactivity and problem solving attitude, ambition and responsiveness
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (in both Italian and English)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: able to join and onboard quickly and establish positive relationships with the team and clients
  • Strong analytical skills: assimilating new information quickly and pro-actively relating them to the needs of the client base
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and corporate finance, including credit analysis
  • Strong commitment to integrity, professionalism and teamwork
  • Resilient to fast paced environment, able to work well under pressure
  • Computer skills: Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in English is a must
  • Previous experience in banking considered a plus
