Job ID: 228242 Date posted: 28/02/2024 What you'll need to have - Background within a food retail contest - Knowledge of food business solutions, compliance standards and Food safety standards and local food legislations - Proven experience in leading a group of people - National business direction, Consumer and Market research, Food Trends and Customer buying behaviour - Ability to build trustful relationships - Experience in managing Food P&L with ability to implent and follow up action plans to close the gap - Planning and organizational skills and ability to identify new business - Experience in leading a high-volume catering business - Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines - Self-reliant and self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently - Ability to work within a strong framework and to deliver strong business results through people - Proven ability to maintain effective work and leadership behavior in the face of setbacks or pressure - Capable of communicating in English and Italian, both in writing and verbally What you'll be doing day to day - Contributes to the implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers - Ensure the commercial agenda by securing that retail foundations and sales steering tools, food safety and Swedishness is in place - Lead and implement the commercial strategy and commercial calendar and the communication strategy - Develop and improve by seeking and acting upon customer feedback - Secure that excellence in operations and high-quality standards of customer experience and optimised levels of commerciality are achieved - Ensures that the team has the correct competence regarding the IKEA Food range and the IKEA services and can share this with customers in a good way - Responsible for the implementation of the global and national people and sustainability strategies - Responsible for quality standards of customer experience in the customer and co-worker restaurant, implementing the global and national compliance standards, managing the food supply chain and range competence in the store - Act as a commercial business partner within the IKEA business in the store - Lead and coach the kitchen production team in optimizing and develop the IKEA Retail Food business, considering the IKEA brand position, strategies, legal compliance and people and planet positive in all IKEA touchpoints as well as promoting IKEA as a great place to work - Ensures implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers - Secures the appropriate processes and procedures to secure quality of food, food safety, excellence in operations, introduce vitality and to reduce waste - Lead and manage the food supply chain for efficient ordering, production and inventory levels to maximize profitability - Secures that the retail foundations are in place to optimize quality perception - Ensure that the kitchen is in shape as new, that equipment is maintained and in full working order and high quality - Contribute to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Retail Food business plan and other action plans - Secure a lean, diverse and high performing team through building IKEA Food and IKEA competence and leadership and empowering co-workers to act on their own initiative - Strong connection and cooperation with City wider management network through an interdependent leadership Together as a team Thanks to us, customers, co-workers and people at home can have a better everyday life through food that’s good for both people and planet.
