Requirements Management Engineer (RME)

Requirements Management Engineer PURPOSE OF THE JOB Ensure that the management of tender and project requirements is performed as per the global company process and methodology, thus the delivered product meets the contractual requirements. Provide the necessary support and trainings to tender and project teams regarding requirements management (RM) process, methodology and tool (DOORS) to perform activities requested by the process. Monitors and reports on the status of RM activities, manages the RM database and helps engineers in their RM activities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Implement Requirement Management global processes on tenders, projects and product development by supporting projects resources accessing DOORS Database and following training on tool, RM process & Methodology. Support governance and compliance to all RM policies shall be given. Get approval from central RM Métier of any deviation to the RM process. Act as the deputy to the TPM (Train Performance Manager), supporting the application of the RM process on a day-to-day basis: Define the RM Strategy for the development, tender, and execution phases (with support from management). Write and maintain the RM Plan. Work with Scope Owners to make sure they understand their actions and are working according to the project schedule. Make sure data are reused according to platform & tender strategy Schedules and helps workshops with Scope Owners for each phase of the RM process ( the allocation review and acceptance workshop, led by the TPM). Prepare and format exports for customer delivery Communicate project status through relevant KPIs.. Act as the guardian of the integrity of the Contracts by insuring that contractual baseline and all changes to it are implemented in DOORS and communicated to engineering team for technical clarification and decisions. Drive the engineers in their Requirement Development Activities by helping the scope owners to build the requirements specifications and the traceability of requirements to design and validation. Perform requirements quality review, give feedback and propose improvements for Scope Owners to review and validate. Perform Change & Configuration management by making baselines according to RM processes, in cooperation with configuration manager. Govern and maintain Baseline Release Note according to Product Baseline Strategy. Contribute to RM Network: Provide feedbacks/ improvements to Global RM Métier through RM Site representant. Support Global RM metier in Documenting process, methodology and trainings. Support DOORS bug report, issue resolution with Service Desk, IS&T and Tools upgrade UAT (User Acceptance Tests). MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES University degree in engineering, with a minimum of two (2) years of requirements related experience utilizing database solutions for requirements management ( DOORS). Practical experience of working on projects at various stages in a project lifecycle. Good communication skills in English. Systems Engineering/Integration conceptual knowledge.
