As a Senior Buyer Farmacia (m/f/d ) in the procurement of pharmaceutical products, you will play a key role in this process, ensuring the highest quality and availability of our assortment for our Italian market at the Settala location near Milan.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for purchasing pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products, as well as selling services with manufacturers
• Successfully establish sustainable and profitable business relationships with our business partners and suppliers for Italy
• Build long-term relationships with procurement, negotiate advantageous terms and cost savings, or sell offered services in collaboration with HQ
• Review existing supply contracts, conduct risk management, and ensure quality and availability
• Develop, track, and report key procurement metrics, expense reduction, and efficiency improvement
• Anticipate changes in negotiation dynamics with suppliers, customers, or in the market
• Analyze data and develop proactive control strategies, particularly for adverse events
• Continuously implement and improve supplier management processes with HQ
• Collaborate with the Total Procurement Team, exchange best practices, and support colleagues in other regions
YOUR PROFILE
• Demonstrated experience in national/international strategic procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical or e-commerce sectors; advantageous if you already have solid knowledge and relationships in the Italian pharmaceutical market
• Structured, analytical, precise, and independent working style
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Strong commitment, sense of responsibility, and teamwork
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are advantageous
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Proficient in MS Office and other applications
