Local Unit & Position Description: Service Line Manager (Food & Bavarage)

  • Supports the development and improvement of Services and Schemes in the F&B market, in cooperation with Market & Industry Functions
  • Support the Accreditation Manager for the adequate management of the accreditations/designations related to F&B global services
  • Ensures adequate monitoring & verifying compliance of all DNV F&B services
  • Deliver input to the Quality Manager to keep the procedures up to date with the (changing) requirements and manage and monitor technical developments efficiently within the budget and on time.
  • Is responsible for the Knowledge portal, F&B part and makes sure it is complete and functional to all relevant users
  • Monitor the quality of certification work delivered by DNV Business Assurance Global Technical Hub and Local Units worldwide and maintain the obtained quality level.
  • Develop and coach the certification specialists/accreditation/schemes managers related to F&B with their various tasks and technical issues and ensure the operation is efficiently set up.
  • Ensures technical adequacy and maintenance of the F&B processes.
  • Actively promotes, supports and facilitates the fulfilment of DNV's Purpose, Vision and Values, and shall foster a culture of cooperation within the Technical Dept. and with other Global Technical Hubs and Local Units.
  • Shall at all times has DNV’s best interest in focus, be loyal to decisions made and shall act as a role model for his/her direct reports.
  • Set up a budget and manage the F&B-IS-MSC-A&A technical special development projects and report deviations.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience in Food/Feed area

  • Preferred demonstrated in Food Safety Management Systems

  • Preferred experience into the Food Industries

  • Knowledge of and/or experience with GFSI and HACCP standards, supply chain and/or training

  • Past key role in the certification process i.e.:

  • the review of reports and/or corrective actions and taking decisions on the audit outcome

  • appropriate working technical knowledge of the processes sufficient to evaluate the audit reports related to F&B certification/accreditation

  • understand the key risks and control processes as well as an understanding of relevant regulations/standards related to F&B certification/accreditation

  • Sufficiently experienced and qualified to evaluate the verification processes, working papers and associated evidence and recommendations made by the assessment/audit team (ISO 17065)
