If you're ready to dive in, lead a team, and drive quality objectives forward, we want to hear from you!This position reports toGlobal Quality ManagerYour responsibilitiesFoster the culture of zero defect, continuous improvement and quality consciousness within the production team; Develop, implement,and manage quality control plan and processes for production operations; Define, implement and manage test protocols to ensure full test coverage; Conduct regular inspections and product line audits to verify adherence to quality standards at each stage of the production process; Lead and motivate ateam of quality engineers (including functional coordination of resources allocated in North America); Provide guidance and support to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to quality protocols; Collaborate with production managers and leaders to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality; Work closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner; Analyze production data and quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement; Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators related to product quality including cost of poor quality; Provide training toproduction staff on quality control procedures and best practices; Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications.Your backgroundOur Ideal Candidate Will Have:Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering: a solid educational foundation in electronic or electrical engineering will provide the framework for success in this role; Proven Track Recordin Quality Management: we're looking for someone with a history of success in quality management, particularly in the realm of production processes. Can you ensure that our products meet the highest standards, every time? 5+ Years of Professional Experience: you've been in the game for a while now. With over five years of experience in a similar role, you've honed your skills and are ready to take on new challenges; Ability to Thrive in an Interdisciplinary Environment: innovation thrives when different perspectives come together. We're seeking someone who can collaborate effectively across disciplines and contribute to sustainable solutions; Exceptional Communication Skills: whether it's crafting detailed reports or leading a team meeting, your communication skills are top-notch. Fluency in both written and verbal English and Italian is essential for success in this role; Outstanding Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: when it comes to tackling complex issues, you're the go-to person. Your ability to analyze data and devise effective solutions sets you apart from the rest; In-Depth Knowledge of Quality Control Processes: you're well-versed in quality control processes and methodologies. Your expertise ensures that our products meet or exceed industry standards every step of the way.Desired Qualifications:Strong Familiarity with ISO-9001 Standards: while not mandatory, a solid understanding of ISO-9001 standards is preferred. Expertise in QS-9000/ISO TS 16949/IATF 16949 will also be considered advantageous; Certifications in Quality Management: do you hold certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma or ASQ? These certifications demonstrate your commitment to excellence and continuous improvement; Familiarity with Manufacturing and Production Environments: experience in manufacturing and production environments within the power electronics business or automotive industry is a plus.
