Take the chance to work for the Organization in charge of delivering one of the biggest and most prestigious events in sport field Feel the Olympic and Paralympic energy joining us at Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, leaving a mark in the sport history BREAK THE ICE Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. The Volunteer Programme Coordinator is responsible for implementing a clear, meaningful, and memorable journey for the over 20 000 Volunteers that will be involved in the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. , The mission is to coordinate the volunteer journey processes and workflows. The candidate will be involved in following activities: Create awareness and represent the Volunteers Programme at every stage, supporting the management of all activities with commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Monitor and support in the delivery the Volunteer Journey at every step (applications, interview, assignment, offers, training, scheduling and rostering, check-in, rewarding, certificates retrieval, etc) ensuring volunteers are assisted and informed. Integrate activities and interact with candidates and volunteer, in alignment with the defined communication and engagement guidelines. Support in Volunteers Operations planning, acting as a point of contact on the subject matter. Support in the preparation and delivery of key milestones such us recruitment and training phases, Kick off Event and games time operations planning, contact centre operations. Support in the preparation of training materials for the Volunteers FA as well as in the organisation of workshops to train Functional Area and other stakeholders involved in the programme. Maintain databases and undertake all necessary administrative duties, which includes a regular communication with candidates and volunteers. Support the build-up of a strong team across all stage of the journey (recruitment, training and management) Support Workforce Planning in consolidating the Volunteer headcount planning for Games Time by function, facilitating all volunteer related matters or negotiations by supporting and train Functional Areas in charge of scheduling and rostering Volunteers. Monitor progress, ensure milestones are met and review the FA roasters in collaboration with the Recruitment Manager. Ensure compliance with Volunteer policies and guidelines at all time. Transition to Game Times Workforce Venue Manager position. 5 years of proven experience in event and/or volunteer management; Excellent interpersonal relationship; Ability to inspire and motivate people. Previous experience of working for events Good understanding and experience of delivering an event with volunteers Team spirit.
