STC Power, as an EPC contractor specialized in the Power sector in the construction of turnkey plants for the production of energy, is looking for a Buyer to join our Procurement team. Main responsibilities: - Develop relationships with suppliers both in terms of scouting and qualificatio according to the technical and commercial details of the plant supplies; - Manage purchasing and subcontracting activities with the collaboration of the Project Managers and the members of the Technical Office; - Qualification of suppliers in collaboration with technicians and the Quality; - Finalization and issue of purchase requests; - Commercial tabulation of offers and definition of the supplier shortlists; - Economic and contractual negotiation of orders, associated terms as well as conditions of purchase; - Preparation and, where necessary, modification of orders and contracts by ensuring the correct transmission of all the related Procurement documentation; - The person must be able to manage the purchasing process proactively, by reaching out the most optimal solution between technical requirements, costs and risk reduction, through the Total Cost of Ownership approach. Requirements: - Degree in Engineering or Economics; - At least 2 years' experience in area of plant engineering purchases; - Good knowledge of writtem and spoken English; - Ability to work in team; - Available for occasional travel in Italy and abroad; - Nice to have a previous experience in the management of international shipments.
