Come work on the Amazon Robotics – Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Team We are looking for an outstanding Quality Management System (QMS) Lead Auditor, who will be responsible for executing quality assessments across the end-to-end MSP products development phases. This leader will partner with (1) the internal Customers (Operations, Maintenance, Process, Ops Engineering, etc.) to support the adoption and usage of QMS processes and tools, (2) the Quality Assurance (QA) Execution team to ensure alignment and consistency of the manual, virtual and process validation with the QMS procedures and (3) the QMS Design Manager to ensure defining audit checklists aligned with all the relevant procedures and instructions. The primary role of the MSP team is to drive future innovation across all aspects of Mechatronics and Packaging, across AI-powered industrial hardware/control machines such as robotic cells, autonomous vehicles, sortation, packing technologies and packaging materials. We drive strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, WW Design, etc. to ensure we deliver robust products that effectively integrate into the Amazon Fulfillment network. The QMS Lead Auditor will be responsible to ensure and verify the adoption of MSP QMS processes, tools and procedures across the entire MSP organization, and to promote communication and coordination with operational leaders by fostering a culture of quality operational excellence. A successful candidate will have strong analytical skills combined with business understanding, broad experience and exposure across multiple stake-holders and deep skills in quality management processes and standards and complex systems integration and validation, which include a high degree of ambiguity. They will work successfully across multiple large engineering, testing and operations teams at a strategic level and drive quality across all our Products. This candidate requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, collaboration, analytical and abstract thinking, time management and organizational skills. This position can also be based in Germany (Berlin/Dusseldorf) and London. Key job responsibilities •Lead the development of audit schedule for MSP QMS, products, processes, procedures and tools, using a risk-based approach. •Develop schedule, lead and manage end-to-end quality audits on MSP QMS and MSP products and processes, procedures and tools. •Support QMS Design Manager and QMS Implementation Lead in identifying gaps and deviation from the existing processed, and develop mitigation plans and corrective actions, by ensuring their implementation within defined timelines. •Cooperate with MSP Safety and Compliance Team to ensure consistency of QMS processes and procedures with Safety Management System. •Ensure the adherence of product testing and validation to the QMS processes and procedures. •Verify and ensure that MSP QMS implementation will comply with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. •Drive continuous improvement through recommended changes to existing processes, products and tools. •Act as a quality excellence ambassador for the entire MSP organization, by developing guidelines and scheduling events to promote the awareness on QA processes and their relevance for the business.
