Job Description Summary: Junior Mechanical Specialist We are hiring for an exciting role in the growing technical department of Vector Renewables, preferably in the main headquarter in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan, or a secondary office in Corato, Bari. In addition, the resource will provide support on site for managing the asset compliance towards local requirements, QHSE internal and international standards. Are you interested? Job Description: Main responsibilities: - Technical support for operations and services on renewable assets, mainly focused on mechanical topics.- Perform wind turbine inspections, Measurements and Tests, on assets owned both by the Group and third-party clients.- Perform borescope inspections on gearboxes or on other components.- Perform Condition Monitoring and Vibration Analysis on drive train, generator and gearbox- Support EoW inspection and perform quality inspections;- Write detailed reports in English and Italian language;- Provide an adequate response to events and activate necessary measures and actions that can involve external intervention from the O&M provider and/or or any other service providers.- Collaborate in Root Cause Failure Analysis.- Elaborate and update a plan for periodical quality inspections on assets owned both by the Group and third parties. Requirements: - GWO training (nice to have) and in any case available for working at heights- Previous experience and knowledge on renewable energy (wind and solar) is preferable- Flexibility to frequent trips, national and international- Advanced IT skills with standard software- Fluent in English.- Technical study background: preferably mechanical engineering degree or industrial engineering degree, with skills/passion on renewable power generation- Nice to have: 1-3 year experience in performing borescope inspections on gearboxes and/or Perform Condition Monitoring and Vibration Analysis on drive train, generator and gearbox- Soft skill: problem solving, teamworking, autonomy, proactiveness- Driving Licence Location: Sesto San Giovanni (MI) or Corato (BA).
