Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. The Transport Management System Coordinator is part of the Digital & Communication Unit within the Transport Area and is responsible for building and managing the TMS (Transport Management System), being the main point of contact of the TMS's provider. The coordinator ensures the proper building of the TMS platform, its effective implementation with mobility partners on field, and - during the Games - supervises all activities 360°, serving as a liaison between the various internal units/areas of the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, the International Olympic Committee, the mobility partners and the TMS's provider. Desired Requirements: Preferably a degree in engineering, and/or at least four years of work experience as Project Manager in transportation systems activities. In-depth knowledge of transportation management principles and logistics. Desired Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of transportation systems and monitoring technologies. Skills: Ability to connect multidisciplinary teams and manage critical situations. Ability and focus to find solutions. Strategic planning skills and ability to adapt quickly to changes. Communication and Interpersonal Skills required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships and effective collaborations with the TMS provider, International Olympic Committee, local authorities, mobility partners, stakeholders and other partners. Flexibility and Stress Management Skills: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changing situations. Resilience to stress and ability to make quick and informed decisions even under pressure. Language Skills: Fluent in Italian and English.
