Your mission : We're looking for a passionate and driven Managing Director to further solidify CharityStars as the leader in the italian market.

We've set up strong foundations in 3 different countries with an innovative approach to the market and are well on our way to scaling our team and impact rapidly and exponentially.

You will report directly to the CEO and play an active part in building the impact of CharityStars across Italy.

Role description : As a Managing Director Italy, you will:

  • Build, lead and challenge your diverse team of talented individuals to develop professionally while growing a strong national company with a unified team.
  • Take the lead on defining the strategy for the Italian expansion rollout and hyper-growth plans. Own the P&L for the country.
  • Steer the team in the right direction and with the right vision, while maintaining focus on our ambitious growth goals and alignment with the global strategy.
  • Embrace and spread the CharityStars culture within the team, with a mix of ambition, passion and fun.
  • Develop a strong national network and ecosystem around CharityStars
  • Be the point of contact for Global Management and work as a team alongside the other awesome Country Managing Directors.
  • Beyond scaling our business, you will have a position to truly influence and inspire the overall ecosystem helping to make giving rewarding and accessible to all.
  • Manage relationships with the Company's main stakeholders: charities, suppliers, customers, celebrities & brands

Requirements :

  • An inspirational leader, with a background in successfully attracting top talent, encouraging internal professional development whilst delivering strong results.
  • 5+ years of experience in a general management position, preferably in a high-growth/scale up e-commerce/marketplace company
  • Strong commercial background to embed the right mindset, with an outstanding record of supporting national Head of Sales and Key Accounts with negotiations.
  • High-energy and efficient working style with a focus on results and integrity.
  • Experience acquiring and working with Key Accounts/Corporate partners.
  • Background and network with charities in Italy is a strong plus.
  • Must be ambitious and love to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communications skills and detail oriented: from Customer Care to Logistics, every aspect of the organization should be managed and developed in detail
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
