Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. Are you experienced in coordinating procurement, configuration, and shipping activities for technical equipment? We're seeking an IT Coordinator to oversee these processes from Demand phase to distribution in Olympic venues. Responsibilities: Coordinate procurement, configuration, and shipping of technical equipment from Demand phase to distribution in Olympic venues. Utilize project management skills to ensure smooth execution of tasks. Optimize logistics and shipping processes for large quantities of equipment. Organize provisioning of materials and manage asset logistics efficiently. Collaborate with Service Providers in the sector to ensure effective operations. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in medium to large environments (>500 users) with similar responsibilities. Preferably hold a technical degree. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Intune-based End User Computing environments. Strong project management skills. Excellent English language skills. Previous experience with provisioning materials, logistics optimization, and shipping large quantities of equipment. Familiarity with asset management and logistics software.
