Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Corporate Applications Manager with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing IT projects focused on ERP solution implementation. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capabilities in successfully orchestrating complex projects, from initial planning to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality objectives. The Corporate Application Manager will direct the Corporate Applications program. S/he will manage a team of professionals dedicated to the implementation and maintenance of the IT Coporate initiatives. S/he contributes with the team to the successful delivery of each project phase, from requirement gathering to development and integration, till final completion of the project with the User acceptance testing, and production maintenance and support. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to the implementation phase, closely monitoring milestones and ensuring the achievement of established objectives. 2. Communication and Collaboration: Effectively coordinate with various stakeholders, including development teams, QA departments, and clients. Maintain clear and transparent communication to ensure a constant flow of information. 3. Risk Control and Problem Resolution: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Manage issues promptly, seeking effective solutions to ensure project success. 4. Performance Evaluation: Constantly monitor project performance against set objectives, making changes or improvements to the project plan as needed. · Minimum of 5-7 years of specific experience in managing IT projects related to ERP software application implementation (eg. Oracle Cloud, Ivalua or equivalent solutions) · In-depth knowledge of key Corporate business areas (eg. Finance, Cost control, Procurement etc) and its integrations. · Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or a related field. · Strong experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum). · Excellent communication and leadership skills. · Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively. · Familiarity with IT Architectures and Infrastructures: Understanding of software architecture concepts, servers, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and deployment systems. · Capability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
