You will support the business development team in its efforts to achieve the company's sales targets and strategic objectives. Your primary role will be to assist in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. As a member of the Business Development team the role involves working under the direction of the Head of Business Development to support the production of bids and proposals. You will have excellent skills in brief analysis, writing and communication and a can-do-attitude, able to support other departments in a fast-paced, creative environment. Reporting to: Head of Bidding on a day to day basis and Head of Business Development on a weekly basis Key Responsibilities: · Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs. Analyze market trends and competitors to inform business strategies. · Client Relationships: Assist in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Work to understand client needs and how the company's offerings can meet these needs. · Sales Support: Support the sales team by developing effective sales pitches, presentations, and proposals. · Reporting: Assist in the creation of reports on business development activities, performance against targets, and the status of deals. · Professional Development: Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and other opportunities to learn and promote the company. More detail: · Creation and implementation of a database of written material for bid and proposal submissions, including writing and editing CVs and past project case studies · Development of a bid library of past projects data for evidence of quality and added value · Proofread for correction of grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors and compliance with ACPV ARCHITECTS style guidelines · Thorough knowledge of and compliance with administrative procedures and standards · Understand and learn the ACPV ARCHITECTS portfolio of work Profile: · Degree in Architecture or Engineering · 2 years experience preparing bid documents and knowledge of bid process best practice and strategy development · Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to tasks · Methodical, accurate and consistent attention to detail · Fluent in English, Italian and if possible other foreign languages · Adaptive digital mindset is required · Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently. · High level of organization and attention to detail. · Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
