MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • Contributes to and execute HR strategy and support organizational business needs to anticipate opportunities and threats

  • Contributes to the execution of the divisional business plans through the creation (where appropriate) and implementation of People Strategies that attract, develop and retain employees.

  • Supports the BHR Team in management of Business Human Resources activities/responsibilities within specific divisions / functions of Abbott In Italy. Support the BHR Manager in carries out ER activities after consultation with line management and BHR Director.

  • Supportst he CHRD, BHR Managers and Line Management to ensure HR policies, processes and procedures are implemented appropriately.

  • Establish and maintain effective and positive working relations with managers, employees and their representatives through a environment that foster communication and co operation supporting the promotion of:

  • An inclusive culture o Health wellness and wellbeing program

  • Engagement and retention capabilities of the Company

  • Supports HR Team and line management, senior manager, employees, elected bodies to ensure harmonious working relationships across the business especially when supporting employee sensitive activities such as RIFs, site closures etc.

  • Administrates the implementation of the HR polices, processes and procedures to ensure a consistent service to client areas and employees.

  • Implements ‘Best Practice’ HR policies within the business unit ensuring its Human Resources are administrated professionally to achieve the Divisional and Corporate goals.

  • Complies with the company’s policies and procedures to meet statutory, quality and business requirements within the overall strategy and objectives of the Company.

Supports and assists BHR Managers with:

  • Employee relations matters
  • HR policies, processes and procedures
  • Restructure and rightsizing projects
  • Business related projects and reorganizational ones
  • Actively supports specific divisions / functions of Abbott Italy.

Experience/Background

    • 4 years of experience in Human Resources
  • In-depth knowledge about HR Processes, employment and legal regulations
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations preferred
  • Experience working within a matrix and global environment
