JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: The Optical Digital Merchandiser will be a pivotal figure inside the Optics e-comm business team. Working within Business team in close contact with Calendar Manager and partnering with the ecommerce manager, he/she will manage the site merchandising activities related to specific product category/ies for the Optical banner he/she will belong, being the key POC from a product standpoint inside and ensuring the correct collection display and enhancement according to business product strategy. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES: Product Launches coordination : coordinate release of product collection and align with assortment, planning and D2C merch team in order to go live according to GTM calendar; ensuring that product launches are compliant with brand & category guidelines. Product strategic analysis : monitor website KPIs and results related to product sales, consumer behavior, promo etc.. Price monitoring and testing. Roadmap Projects: Support the identification and prioritization of product focused projects, managing from discovery to execution and testing, aligning with the relevant stakeholders (IT, OPS, CHub etc.) and report updates and progress to the team. Product support on specific categories during key commercial moments: during Cyber Week, Customer Week, main promo moments, ensure best product execution on site and testing overseeing his/her product categories of reference with ad hoc product curation and sales’ optimization Ticket Management: Manage tickets resolutions, coordinating key relevant stakeholders (IT, Chub, OPS,…) NETWORK OF INTERACTION: INTERNAL : Business, Creative Hub, D2C Merch team, Category, Planning, IT, Operations, CRM, Brand team (mainly brand category, social, comms teams), Performance & Affiliation, Product team EXTERNAL : IT TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE Educational Background in Economics or Marketing is a plus At least 2/3 years of experience in E-commerce/Site Merchandising in similar companies is required Strong problem solving and organizational skills Analytical skills Solid experience with PIM Ability to interact with different internal and external stakeholders is a must Good experience in managing product collections and product releases Knowledge about CMS and image update tool is a plus Flexibility, lateral thinking and proactive/positive approach Familiarity with project management and design tools such as Click Up and Figma Good eye for contents/images, product shootings and visual sensibility Advanced knowledge of MS Excel Passion for digital contents and products is a must CANDIDATE PROFILE: Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
