Job purposeThe South Region Market Operator OE & REP performs the following activities: Stock Transfer Order processing in SAP for Bridgestone Distribution Center replenishment: delivery creation and transport creation; Sales Order processing for Direct Shipment to customers; Sales Order processing for Original Equipment(OE) tires replenishment to OE customers; Daily contact with Order Fulfillment people for REP channel/Direct shipments to customers; Daily contact with OE Front Office and operations people for OE channel; Monitoring of weekly and daily deployment. Monitoring of OE stock monthly evolution to be sure to respect RDD for OE tires; Process and operations improvement ( process or system wise) Main responsibilities 1. STO processing in SAP for Bridgestone DC’s replenishment: Is responsible for trucks scheduling at week0 based on Monday deployment of Bari and Melfi warehouses: Deliveries creation processing new STO + pending STO = total to be delivered within the next Friday (week 1) ; prioritizing the most urgent items; Calculating of number of trucks per destination based on total of cubic meters; Daily reviewing shipments plan based on additional orders Returns and claims management in case of shipping discrepancies. 2. Sales Orders processing for Direct Shipments to customers: is responsible for trucks scheduling based on SO received by SalesCo’s to deliver customers directly from the Plant DC’s: keeps freight cost under control, checking Direct Shipment feasibility based on total volumes to be shipped to the customer. asking for eventual additional orders to better fulfill the truck; monitoring stock level to guarantee the promised quantities to the customer; creating deliveries based on the SO received; arranging Loading/unloading slots in collaboration with Salesco and Traffic operator. Returns and claims management in case of customers claims. 3. Sales Orders processing for OE tires replenishment of OE customers: Is responsible for trucks scheduling based on SO received by Bridgestone’s OE Front Office staff: monitoring OE stock level to decide loading dates based on tires availability; creating deliveries based on SO received ; arranging unloading slots in collaboration with the traffic operator to deliver the OE customer at the requested delivery date; alerting Manufacturing Scheduling Dept. in case production output is not sufficient to fulfill the OE demand at the RDD. 4. Cost monitoring: By creating the necessary deliveries, avoids waste of loading volume optimizing trucks’ filling in order to keep freight cost/ton under control. 5. Process and operations improvement. New projects: Collaborates with Management openly sharing ideas ,opinions in a constructive way. Analyzes data, processes and operations with critical attitude and strong motivation to improve/simplify them. Puts his/her skill at disposal for testing activities finalized to new projects implementation. Required Capabilities Degree in Management Engineering/or Informatics / or Supply Chain; 3 years degree SAP system advanced knowledge. EXCEL , ACCESS and POWERPOINT advanced level user. English proficiency and Italian mother tongue is a must. Cost monitoring. Inventory control & planning. Knowledge of Distribution and transportation processes. Management of KPI’s. Experience Knowledge of supply chain concepts , order fulfillment and Logistics Operations. Knowledge in customer service. Experience in distribution and /or warehousing operations is a plus. Is continuously in touch with the traffic operator and warehouse manager with the purpose of being always aligned about all details concerning transportation, inbound, outbound, and stock adjustment. Discipline and rigor: Always respects the Company’s procedures and is rigorous in his/her way of working. Prompt reactivity in front of unexpected events: the candidate works in a challenging environment. Logistics is subject to rapid changes in the program and to sudden situations of difficulty therefore it is necessary to analyse unexpected events and to have very strong problem solving. Flexible work schedule: is not scared by challenging work sessions and is available to short business trips for market operators meetings and trainings and for inventory count activities in the SOR.
