Our client is an international company leading in Renewable Energy Market (wind, hydroelectric, thermal ) with Italian branch office in Milan. We are searching for a REGULATORY SPECIALIST Reporting to the Country Manager, the candidate is supposed to know the fundamental rules of the energy sector; he/she is ideally not a pure regulatory expert, rather a curious, open-minded person, with horizontal, cross competencies and the motivation to enter an international organization to work in strict contact with the Country Manager Italy and support him in technical issues. Responsibility and competences Ensuring effective liaison with corporate functions, Guaranteeing strategic coordination and support to the local business divisions Implementing Group values and leading principles Managing the company’s reputation and stakeholder engagement Main activities Regulatory & Public Affairs To follow and keep an updated view on all the main regulatory or general issues in Italy (and in Europe) To provide the interface between the company, the national regulatory authority (ARERA), the national energy associations and all levels of Government that affect the company activities. Compliance with Group guidelines as well as with Law 231/01 requirements To ensure compliance with group directives and instructions as well as local law and regulations (including e.g. anti-corruption, health & safety, privacy, etc.) To support the Supervisory Board (Organismo di Vigilanza) in ensuring the implementation and update of the Law 231/01 model at all the levels of the participating Italian group companies. Communication & Events Management: To provide support to Country Manager and the Group for strategic communications, working closely and in strict coordination with the headquarters to ensure communication is aligned and streamlined. Skills In-depth knowledge of the Italian and EU regulatory environment and energy market structure, main actors and prospects; Support to the implementation of all processes pertaining the Organizational and Management model (Law 231/01) and other compliance matters; Develop and nurture a network of key contacts across most relevant stakeholder groups (institutions, peers, etc.); Planning and organizing skills; Proven communication, leadership and coordination skills Knowledge of communications techniques Experience at least 2/3 years Degree in Law/Economics/Engineering Good/Excellent knowledge English language The search is open to male and female (L. 903/77).
