Job Description: Key Responsibilities: - Interface between the sales office, the sellers and the sales management- Interface between commercial office and Finance- Preparation of margin analysis for commercial management- Maintenance of the price list (calculation tool)- Constant updating to the commercial management on the progress of orders taken, possible orders, shipments, etc...- Participation in S&OP meetings in preparation for the changes to be made to the production plan- Responsible for creating and establishing Best Practices for Commercial office compliance and risk controls.- Ensuring Commercial office adherence to Tax, Ethics & Compliance, SOX as well as other Terex mandated compliance controls- Where required, the creation of new/updated processes and policies to support improvement activities- Establish a Customer - Centric culture that focusses on developing our people, providing the right tools to delight our internal customers with accurate information in a timely manner- Develop internal metrics to ensure order accuracy (Quality) and timeliness with improvement plans based upon LEAN and other optimization principals- Manage daily meeting to co-ordinate customer requirements with production planning, finance and transport- Help drive production plans by ensuring that customer orders are slotted correctly and that manufacturing constraints are in line with forecasts and customer order book.- Provide on time and accurate information and reporting to the Sales Manager.- Assist with compiling forecast data and providing pipeline visibility on quoting activity- Assist Sales Managers by preparing and submitting quotations to Customers, ensuring all specification and pricing criteria has been met. Manage the Sales Administration process to ensure: - Department is working in compliance with Tax and SOX processes and that appropriate approvals are in place prior to product shipment.- Internal and External Customers are regularly informed of their delivery date at all times, thereby ensuring excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.- Upload and progress orders on a daily, weekly basis to ensure that customer requirements are achieved.- Responsible for shipping, export documentation including letters of credit- Create and provide proper visibility on our performance for our customers Qualifications and Education: - A degree level or diploma qualification in a Business Discipline.- Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships, prepare and deliver formal presentations.- Requires process oriented person with significant focus on process improvement (LEAN).- Requires well-developed problem solving skills with the ability to establish creative solutions.- Requires advanced PC and technical skills (heavy excel & ERP(s) system use.- Requires advanced written communication skills to prepare proposals and business correspondence.- Requires strong time management skills.- Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of globally located and diversified teams.- Experience in the international marketplace with some cross cultural resourcefulness is a distinct advantage.- Experience within a role of similar size and scope.- Excellent technical and mechanical knowledge.- Must be focused on customer needs, listen openly and attentively to those needs, and able to translate those needs into plans and actions.- Adept at negotiating/recommending solutions.- Specific experience involving Importing/Exporting/ Letters of Credit/Bank Guarantees.- Complete experience in a Sales Administration/Customer Support/Customer facing role.- Fluent English (spoken and written). Other preferential language: German or French.- Education and Training.- Preferable previous knowledge of the Oracle system, or other ERP systems.- - Ability to develop custom multi-source spreadsheets and reports highly desired.
