Fulfillment Manager

Job Description Summary : At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

The Fulfillment Manager will be responsible for the success of the assigned production programs with specific reference to delivery performance, risk mitigation and capacity assessment.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Identify critical shortages, Assembly coverage and flag parts for escalation / set Priorities
• Deal with external Customer for assigned programs/ Customers on behalf of Avio Aero
• Act as Supply Chain point of contact for other teams (Programs, Finance, others)
• Proactive interface with internal and external customers, dealing with Avio Aero Plants and Sourcing teams
• Help reducing capacity constraints and assess source commits for risk
• Engage and escalate priorities within and outside Supply Chain (Programs, Engineering)
• Communicate to Shops / Sourcing program priorities and work issues with program managers
• Work closely with Site’s Fulfilment teams to define the Output Plans, by adopting both a Quarterly and a Long Term view
• Deal with Quality on Q-Rates for assigned programs, and with Sourcing on critical orders to guarantee proper priorities
• Set allocation decisions for critical hardware (Spares vs Assembly)
• Provide frequent updates concerning the assigned Program and - when required - at Critical Material Reviews (CMR) and Deep Dive (DD) meetings
• Support long term solutions of Problem Lots issues
• Own critical Get Well plans and calculate PO return to plan
• Manage On Time Delivery and CMR metrics for assigned Program
• Support Program Inventory

Qualifications/Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or at least Mechanic Technician Diploma
• Solid experience in Manufacturing, Sourcing or other Supply Chain functions within Aerospace industry
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to analyze and solve problems, coordinate and oversee complex activities.
• Strong relationship skills and ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
• Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize the tasks
• Proficient in Office and Outlook
• Knowledge of SAP
• Fluent in English and Italian, both oral and written
• EU work permit

• Prior scheduling/fulfilment experience is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to simultaneously work on short term issues while keeping long term vision
• Strong influencing skills and ability to work within a matrix organization
• Six Sigma training is preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Use of digital tools
