EMC Testing Technician

As an EMC & Electrical Testing Technician, you will work on qualifying EMC and electrical test components based on customer requirements. A day in life: Compile the test plan in accordance with customer specifications and other applicable requirements or standards. Perform EMC and electrical tests according to the specific test plan and ISO17025 requirements; conduct necessary tests to resolve any issues. Compile the test report according to ISO17025 requirements, submitting it for analysis and approval to the EMC and Electrical Laboratory Manager and quality approval. Perform a comprehensive test cycle on the device, in terms of performance and technical aspects, based on customer needs. Notify the EMC and Electrical Laboratory Manager of any faults or malfunctions in the equipment under test (EUT) with a detailed description. Must have: Master's degree in electronic engineering or physics. Knowledge of EMC and electrical tests in the automotive field. Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 regulations. Good knowledge of major international standards for testing electronic components for EMC. Ability to construct a technical EMC and electrical test plan with a description of each testing procedure. Ability to conduct EMC and electrical tests on components in an automotive environment. Knowledge of the entire electrical and electromagnetic compatibility instrumentation used in a laboratory. Good proficiency in the English language (written and spoken).
