PIP Global Safety (“PIP”) is a leader in providing innovative personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes Hand Protection, Above-the-Neck Protection, Workwear and Footwear to the industrial, trades, retail and e-tail channels. Every day our PPE is relied upon to help protect industrial workers and construction professionals from injury. JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), with matrix reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the HR Business Partner will work closely with members of the PIP EMEA Leadership Team to align HR strategy, process and programs to achieve business goals. This is an exciting time to join our dynamic business as we integrate several businesses across key locations in Europe including Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Poland and UK to position the region for continued growth. YOU ARE

An Experienced HR Professional

  • You are an experienced HR professional with a background in a multi-site/country role to support our EMEA team.
  • You have a proven track record developing capabilities and coaching leaders on critical people initiatives related to talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, organizational design, compensation, benefits and other people programs and cultural initiatives.
  • You will collaborate with regional HR practitioners and line managers in EMEA to provide strategic and operational HR capabilities while working closely with corporate HR team and HR centers of excellence (COE) leaders to ensure harmonization with global practices.
  • You know how to assess risks, build strong internal relationships – connecting with all levels of employees by being approachable, a positive influence, and trustworthy.

Skilled with Maintaining Confidentiality and Integrity of HR Processes

  • Ensure accurate and confidential handling of employee data and ensure compliance with HR-related data privacy and security protocols.
  • Support current and future recruitment needs of the region while embracing the launch of the Global Code of Conduct along with PIPs Values/Mission/Purpose.
  • You will maintain a positive working relationship with the global HR team and partner with the EMEA leadership on goal setting and assessment.
  • You will lead EMEA performance management process and build system/processes in alignment with US global framework.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to generate reports and provide insights to HR leaders and other stakeholders and maintain HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making to enhance the employee experience, improve PIP talent and drive business performance.

Knowledgeable in Employment Law and HR Best Practices 

  • Stay up to date with local and international employment laws, internal and external regulations, and procedures within each country PIP EMEA has operations and maintain impeccable record keeping, reporting and employment practices.

Focused on Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

  • Focus on continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency.
  • Partner closely with HR leadership team on driving global continuous improvement initiatives.

EDUCATION

University education in business, human resources, or related fields

REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS

  • 4-8 years of experience in HR in a multi-location or regional HR Business Partner role.
  • Understanding of national employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Strong business acumen and an internal customer focus to generate meaningful insights and drive organizational results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, influence others and facilitate conflict resolution. 
  • Strategic thinker who is willing to be hands-on possessing the confidence and agility to work within a multinational, matrixed organization focused on change management and continued growth.
  • Demonstrable track record of capturing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within a HR role which drive business outcomes.
  • High level of cultural and self-awareness with the ability to coach and develop both direct and indirect reports within a matrix organization.
  • Fluency in Italian and excellent command of English is required. Other languages (French, German, Polish) highly desirable.
  • Post merger & acquisition business integration experience preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience collaborating with global HR team members.
