This role is in the UPS Healthcare Italy division which operates in the pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market, shipping from Formello (Rome) and Liscate (Milano).

Can you prove you possess a strong labor know-how, the right relationship skills and excellent problem solving techniques to manage the labor relations within the UPS Healthcare Italy business unit?

In the role of Labor Relations Supervisor you will provide a direct support to UPS Healthcare Management in maintaining and improving the constructive social dialogue with employees and unions. You will also be involved in ensuring labor compliance and training internal stakeholders, in a strong collaboration with HR Business Partner team.

We’re offering a permanent contract to a skilled worker who wants to take the responsibility to become the main contact for the internal and external social partners, building a network within a complex matrix organization and connecting with different stakeholders, being also engaged to manage collective and individual labor disputes and conflicts.

What you’ll do

  • Be part of the Italy labor relations team and report to the UPS Healthcare Italy Managing Director and Labor Manager;
  • Contribute to an open and constructive social dialogue;
  • Be the primary contact for internal and external social partners (union members, employer organization, employee organization, etc.)
  • Prepare and take part in the meetings with unions, together with management;
  • Be responsible for labor local compliance and supporting HR Business Partner under European compliance guidelines;
  • Provide labor trainings and advise to internal stakeholders;
  • Keep track of legal and collective labor topics that could influence the organization and report on them to HR or Legal Departments;
  • Manage collective and individual labor disputes and conflicts.

What you’ll need

  • A previous experience as Labor Specialist or Manager in complex organization, preferably in Logistics, Pharma or Retail Industry;
  • Education: Preferably Labor Law or Economics with Labor focus courses;
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian Trade CBA (CCNL Commercio e Terziario);
  • Solid experience in negotiation with unions and other employees and employers stakeholders;
  • Willingness to self-develop, continuously learn and to attain knowledge on how we operate
  • Be a social skilled person who can network within a large scale matrix organization;
  • Ability to work independently both in identify solutions to problems and prioritizing asks;
  • Business proficiency in English;
  • Open to travel for business trips.
