Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. We are looking for Venue Look of the Games Coordinator. The Milano Cortina 2026 Look of the Games is a graphic pattern that will form the backdrop for all events in competition and non-competition venues during Games Time and also will create a festive atmosphere in the host cities and regions. The Venue Look of the Games Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and delivery of the Look of the Games programme requirements in one of the venues (production, installment, dismantling). He/She will: Develop the project to apply the look of the games to the structures of one of the venues, to ensure the correct broadcast and photo press performance, and an engaging athletes and visitor experience; Be able to produce technical drawings, photo simulations and project details to engage stakeholders and gain approvals; Contribute to the drafting of tender documents; Work closely with the internal Branding Team (graphic, production), Venue Management & Overlay Team, Sport and sport equipment team; Contribute to the conceptual design of the competition podiums and the Olympic truce wall; Manage the suppliers of look of the games productions and implementation; Work closely with the graphic designers and the look of the games team to ensure the correct development of the graphic project based on the dimensions and characteristics of the overlay structures; Be responsible for overseeing and managing Look contractors during the installation phase in the venue to ensure successful implementation of all Look elements in accordance with the defined Look plan. Qualification in Architecture, Design; 5 years of experience; English full work proficiency, knowledge of other languages is an advantage; IT-experienced, professional use of autocad, professional use of graphic design softwares, knowledge of usual office software understanding of design standards at different stages and in view of delivery and site management; experience in events, cultural or major sport events; site experience with a support role in a construction / engineering environment is a plus.
