From research and evaluation, through to project management and communications, we are leaders in providing the evidence and advice that our clients need to tackle the issues that affect communities around the world.What you will be doingParallel to our continued growth, we are now seeking a Junior Consultant to join our Rome office.You will work closely with the team and be actively involved on regional policy research and projects and on topics such as energy, environment, innovation and territorial development. You will also be collaborating with colleagues from other offices around Europe particularly Ecorys Brussels.As a Junior Consultant, your role will include but is not limited to:Contributing to the preparation of tenders and research proposals, including elaboration of research methods and support with administrative documents; Support the design and the implementation of data collection; Deliver qualitative and quantitative analysis, contribute to the preparation of reports;Contribute to Ecorys’ communication and outreach activities, collaborating with other teams, experts, organisations and external stakeholders; Managing and delivering part of projects. What we will need from youEssentialUniversity degree in economics, economic geography, economic sociology, public policy, environmental sciences, energy transition, engineering or any related subject;Excellent command of English and Italian, both written and spoken;Work experience of at least 1 year in a relevant field preferably with European institutions, EU clients, partners or organisations;Knowledge of EU cohesion policy and in particular European Regional Development Fund; Experience in policy analysis, evaluation as well as qualitative and quantitative research; Ability to work on own initiative, to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. DesirableExperience in supporting business development activities, writing successful bids, reports and concept notes. Benefits, application deadline and processEcorys offers its employees a professional, stimulating and learning environment and scope to develop.
