Resource Lead - Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna Your ‘day to day’: As Resource Lead you will be part of our Technical Service department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A.. and will be reporting to the Manager Technical Service. The position will be based in Bologna. In your role, You will Lead the collection of machine performance parameters and optimize the schedules of the various Manufacturing resources such as available manning, calendars for Maintenance, Trainings, Trials and Engineering to provide Site Integrated Planning (SIP) team the necessary manufacturing constraints on resources as an input for production planning in SIP. You wull also coordinate on daily basis with SIP resolution of production plan deviations according to DDS and on weekly basis validation and optimization of production plan provided by SIP.. Specific responsibilities include: - Ensure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss. Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS - Being Responsible for a production plan preparation that take in consideration as priority quality costrains. Optimize and manage specs change, being sure that the modification are introduced in a smooth and effective way, in cooperation - Validate from Manufacturing perspective the new plan before release, including highlighting potential plan optimization to SIP in accordance with defined framework (Plant Operating Strategy). Provide guidance to SIP for Master Production Plan (Product wheel). Optimize the schedules of Manufacturing resources such as available manning, calendars for maintenance, Trainings, Trials and Engineering and provide to SIP as input for planning. Collect and maintain relevant performance parameters for all machines in factory impacting capacity of FG and Semis such as design speed and uptime projections. - Adhere to stock policies while keeping human and machine resources at the lowest cost, and within operational constraints (e.g. materials availability and equipment efficiency). Ensure and control the execution of the production schedule and ensure corrective actions in case of deviations. Provide input to SIP for LRP volume forecasting and budgeting (OB): performance assumptions, working calendars and machine capabilities. Enable monthly performance review with SIP including action plan status and follow-up - Adhere to stock policies while keeping human and machine resources at the lowest cost, and within operational constraints (e.g. materials availability and equipment efficiency). Ensure and control the execution of the production schedule and ensure corrective actions in case of deviations. Provide input to SIP for LRP volume forecasting and budgeting (OB): performance assumptions, working calendars and machine capabilities. Enable monthly performance review with SIP including action plan status and follow-up Take responsibility for the completion of own training plan and comply with the requirements established in the Qualification Matrix Requirements & Skills: - Bachelor or Master degree or Technical High School - min 5 years experience in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain (preferably SC Planning) - Fluent in English and Italian. - Understanding of manufacturing & support processes (maintenance, engineering, training, trials, manning plans). Trained in OPEN+. Solid reporting knowledge of uptime calculation, downtime classification and capacity calculation. Experienced in production planning to understand main customer.
