Weddings Team Leader

You will lead the team of weddings experts building up local offer based on requirements from wedding Tour Operators and driving higher margins to support Italy and TUI Musement bottom line results. Besides margins growth, key performance metrics include the achievement of product targets in existing and new areas, including quality of the same. You will support design of TUI Italia weddings’ strategy in coordination with Operations and Finance management team and ensure implementation of the same. Your main objective will be to manage an excellent relationship with existing weddings tour operators as well as sourcing new ones aligned with strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible to lead commercial relationship with weddings suppliers (including authorities), aligned with our strategy to deliver the perfect weddings packages. ABOUT THE JOB - Ensure engagement plan in place and followed with weddings tour operators - Preparation of financial and content proposals according to the weddings’ TO’s requirements and deadlines - Select the best product options, benchmarked to ensure that the quotation is competitive - When offer finalised, ensure process is followed briefing it to the weddings operations team in order to deliver best in class weddings experience - Support commercial growth by building strong relationships with suppliers and authorities - Lead the team to build and optimise the supply of pre-existing weddings packages as well as launch for weddings new destinations/venues within the country - Be an expert and lead the team to be experts in your destination and product - develop new and unique products - Ensure best delivery of end-to-end weddings product - Carry out continuous follow up of our services with TOs - Have a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and tourism trends in the region ABOUT YOU - Experience in account management and supply management, preferably in the tourism, an event organisation or similar - Experience in team management - Excellent communication skills - Strong commercial mindset with proven negotiation skills - Willingness to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly address issues - Strong analytical and numerical skills - Attention to detail - Comfortable with targets and working in a key results-driven environment with different priorities ABOUT OUR OFFER - Competitive salary and benefits as standard - Career progression opportunities in more than 50 countries worldwide - Develop yourself as part of a friendly, richly diverse and virtual international team - Exceptional approach to your learning - access to free learning platforms & language lessons TUI Musement is a leading Tours & Activities business.
