Today we offer our customers solutions that feature a seamless blend of diverse technologies, ensuring optimal interfaces, along with flexible implementation and real synergy in innovation.   TRAIN LAB ENGINEER Purpose of the Job/Objective: He/she contributes to Train Lab preparation and operation. Train Lab is a test mean which includes train real HW and SW and allows the functional validation of the vehicle in advance to the availability of the real vehicle. Specifically she/he: Prepares TrainLab for tests on time in the correct configuration Supports test teams during test execution. Configure the train lab according to project needs Scope can be extended to other functional test means: Cosimulation computers and TCMS Testbench She/He is responsible for: Collect the inputs for Test means configurations and analyse their quality Test means applicable configuration definition Train LV schematics Train equipment models Traction system model TCMS software and associated deliverables (ICD) Generate the configurations for the Test means Contribute to continuous improvement of tools: LV modeling, equipment modeling, configuration tools Support test execution Compile & sustain the standard documentation for configuration generation Support deployment and animation of Test means performance KPI Knowledge & Experience Mandatory Practical knowledge of validation Means (Testbench, simulators…); Practical experience on software integration & validation phases (minimum of 2 years’ experience in Railway or Health, Defence, Aeronautical, Automotive domains). Desirable Practical knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalent class tests…) Practical knowledge of validation tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools…)  Managing work packages for sub-contractors Educational Requirements: Mandatory: Engineering school Master of Science (Engineering, Physical Sciences or others) Desirable: Railway engineering Systems engineering Competencies & Skills Electrical scheme understanding Software coding Model coding Fluent in English Behavioural Attitude Rigorous Good capability to external relationship with Authorities Attitude to work in a dynamic context, in projects involving different sites Good attitude to work in team Availability to move for short period.
