Implement specific customer requirements thru the ETO process. Products may have global scope and as well a regional scope. We are actively seeking a Control Engineer to join our dynamic team across Bologna, Italy!As a Control Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing control architecture from a FW and HW standpoint; create functional and architectural specification; define the validation tests in accordance with the standard procedure and analyze specific applications providing active support and service. What kind of work will you be doing? Design control architecture specifications working in an international environment with FW and HW teams. Analyze Software already implemented to understand the functionalities. Support the testing team for the definition of the test plan and review the test results. Test and validate the Software in accordance with the standard procedures. Cooperate with other functions during the definition of the product specification. Support the service team in remote or directly at the Customer sites to solve problems. Produce technical documentation in line with the process requirements. What will make you successful? Closed Loop Techniques: Discrete dominion; CLARK & PARK; D/Q & Alpha/Beta dominions. PWM modulation and space vector. Control modelling for MATLAB & Simulink Proficiency in Language C Understanding of the main operating systems concepts: processes, memory management, file systems, task manager. Knowledge in SW versioning tools like CVS, SVN, GIT Knowledge on power converters. Customer oriented and availability to travel. Good team working attitude and communication skills. Good English language knowledge. Education: University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Control or equivalent. Experience: 1-5 years of experience.
