Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Senior R&D Process Development Engineer to join our growing Vishay. In this position, you will work in the organization of Research and Development and you will be responsible for new process development to apply to new Products release. This is a senior role with the opportunity to create real impact within the organization and build a promising career.

Job Location:

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.

What you will be doing:

• To work on new tools definition, in terms of Specification, setup and qualification.
• To establish new processes for to support new products developments (mainly Silicon Carbide power devices, but also Silicon devices) thru Fab experiment based on Designers feedback.
•  Design and Simulation of fabrication process flow, mainly SiC diodes.
• Recommend improvement, modification of processes to reduce cost or support new product families.
• Define process improvement or control activities to release R&D new processes or tools to production.
• Interact with cross-functional Teams and other Fabs on common issues or common process/technologies.
• Regularly work with tool suppliers tob e updated about state of the art on power semiconductor technology and fabrication process.
• To work with foundries to adapt transfer process recipes and technologies.

What you will bring along:

• Bachelor’s, Master, PhD degrees on Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience/PhD on SiC Silicon Carbide Power Semiconductor Processes and technology.
• Overall experience on Silicon Semiconductor Fabrication Technology.
• Knowledge of Statistical Data analysis and related software (JMP is preferred)
• Skills on Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• Strong Attitude to Teamwork
• Good presentation and networking skills.
• Ability Project Management for to coordination a multi-disciplinary team taking advantage of the potential of the various teams and thinking in a continuous improvement way.
