Summary The R&D Project Leader leads R&D project teams to project closure with limited direction. There is a level of independent interaction, influence, and leadership with the project team to ensure the team keeps the project on track and delivers to commitments. The R&D Project Leader role is guided by the product lifecycle management processes. The individual in this role will be strengthening their independence and strong leadership and project management skills in order to evolve to lead larger projects. What you'll be doing Within the R&D perimeter and for the specific perimeter assigned in the project: Responsible for building, consolidating and maintaining the R&D project plan, the R&D project team and related structure, act as change owner if needed Responsible to assign and monitor team deliverables for project completion Responsible for project communication with the R&D team and Leadership, PMO, and other project key stakeholders. Communication includes, but not limited to, project status and achievement, execution strategy, risk escalation, etc Coordinate project R&D documentation and issue the specific project management documentation In collaboration with the PMO core team leader and the other core team members, responsible for establishing and implementing an effective project risk mitigation plan, including effective communication of risk status to PMO core team leader and R&D leadership team In conjunction with the R&D functions and the PMO core team leader, responsible for establishing and monitoring R&D project budget commitments What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines or equivalent 3 years of project management or experience in the product life cycle for electromedical devices Basis of HW, SW and System Engineering Medical device regulations and standards Familiarity with Project Management areas of knowledge Familiarity with electromedical devices technology and related design and development processes Team working approach and Problem solving attitude Very good communication skills Capability to flex and understand from technical details to wide strategic analysis and discussions Fluent in English (spoken, Written/read) Reasonable Accommodations Baxter is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities globally.
