About the role : DNV Business Assurance Italy is looking for Lead Auditor to guide the audit team in performing audits and assessment according to DNV standards and protocols, international standards or equivalent national standards and according to the established DNV methodologies and rules.

  • The main areas of responsibility are :

  • Plan and execute audits, report findings, and conduct follow-up activities within agreed timescales and economic frameworks.

  • Carry out tasks for DNV efficiently and competently as per instructions, Quality System, or formal agreements with clients.

  • Promptly communicate with customers to confirm planned activities and ensure clarity throughout the process.

  • Ensure the independent nature of the DNV scheme is upheld at all times to maintain integrity.

  • Maintain or acquire Auditor Registration with DNV or other relevant bodies necessary for the Lead Auditor role.

  • Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas relevant to auditing.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel, contributing to a positive work environment and effective communication among team members and stakeholders.

The Lead Auditor reports to the Lead Auditor Coordinator.

About you :

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing audits, including reporting findings and follow-up actions.
  • Fluent Italian and a good knowledge of English.
  • Ability to work as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and occasionally abroad.
  • People management skills.
  • Very good knowledge of Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driving license.
