Technical Business Manager is a highly rewarding role, and it’s the perfect opportunity to leverage your Account Management skills in a world-class multinational environment. You will be instrumental in proactively managing customer expectations and ensure that correct actions are implemented to support them in delivering life-saving medicines to patients across the world.

Acting as the main point of contact, you will ensure the effective and efficient management of a customer account, guarantee a correct understanding of customer requirements in terms of expected deadlines, costs and service level but also ensure that during the lifecycle of product everything is done in compliance with MSA and agreement with clients.

In this role you will enjoy an outstanding visibility and exposure to both internal Leadership Team and key stakeholders within client's organization, and your business acument and communication skills will be instrumental in ensuring business growth and world-class client experience.

Specifically you will carry out the following duties:

  • understand technical requirements of clients, find the best solution for the client, communicate important information inside the plant in order to identify production costs and prepare quotations and cost books.
  • supervise the TT activities to be sure that costs, timeline and customer expectations, are always met.
  • prepare and constantly updated the commercial forecast and potential revenues; actively participate and lead contractual negotiation together with internal stakeholders
  • monitor progress status to identify corrective actions in order to maximize client satisfaction and revenues from the production order, in compliance with contract requirements (deadlines and service level);
  • collaborate with the involved parties inside the plant in order to identify, propose and carry out an efficient plan to settle the issue, while protecting Patheon interests and image;
  • ensure the development and management of good relationships with clients of the plant: constantly keep in touch with clients, fully understand technical requirements of clients, propose potential technological development plans to clients, in order to build and retain clients loyalty towards Patheon and contribute to the constant alignment of Patheon with potential new technological requirements of clients, whilst fostering and seizing new business opportunities.

Skills

  • hands-on experience in pharmaceutical/chemical Industry and CMO manufacturing processes;
  • proven experience in account management, procurement and in a customer-facing role
  • analytical skills, Business-oriented, Client-oriented, excellent relationships skills at all levels;
  • fluent English (speaking, reading, writing) and Italian
  • ability to work well independently and in a team-based environment.
